  • Built in 1875 by the Midland Pacific Railroad when it extended its line from Nebraska City. It was later acquired by the CB&Q and the line was kept open until the late 1980's to haul out nuclear waste caskets from a nearby power plant. After the line was finally abandoned, the depot was moved a few block to its present location and became the home of the rownville Depot and Railroad History Museum.
