  • Small leaf fig (Ficus obliqua), one of the many types of strangler fig. This is a relatively young strangler, growing near Ulladulla in the south coast region of New South Wales.   • A common species in this rainforest. Usually occasionally seen in the more diverse raniforests up north. At this higher latitude, as many other species are absent, the myrtle ebony and other sub tropical types are much more often seen. Such as the myrtle, Brush Cherry (Syzygium australe). The myrtle ebony and Diospyros australis are the most southerly of the great tribe of Ebonies and Persimmons. There's some 700 species in all continents apart from Antarctica.
