The Eben-Ezer Tower is a tower-museum built by Robert Garcet in Ében-Émael (commune of Bassenge), north of Liège. Its proportions are inspired by those of the New Jerusalem, according to St. John. According to his architect, Robert Garcet, each stone has a revelation and the numbers speak for themselves. The building, 33 meters high, on a square plan with turret at the corners, is built in large flint rubble on a deep well also 33 meters. One of the main builders is Gilbert Krawinckel. Its seven floors are crowned by the four Cherubim of the Apocalypse, cast in concrete: Taurus, to the northwest, Man, to the southwest, Lion, to the southeast, and the Eagle, to northeast. At the base of the tower, a cromlech erects its twelve stelae between the copses; each erected stone is distant from the other by 3.33 meters. As for the monumental staircase that runs down the side of the hill, it too has the dimensions required by an ancient esotericism. In the Bible, Eben-Ezer is the Stone of Help, the memorial stone established by Samuel after a defeat of the Philistines, as a memorial of the help received on the occasion of God (1 SAM 7: 7-12), near Mizpah (Benjamin), near the western entrance to Beth-horon Passage. On this same battlefield, twenty years before, the Philistines led the Israelites, "and the army group in the field about four thousand men" (4: 1.2; here, and at 5: 1, called "Eben -ezer "by anticipation).
