on the Cargill Spur. The brush / trees really hem the ROW in so winter is probably the only time a person can get pics here. As a side not, rumor has it that Cargill has sold this plant and that the resulting sale may result in more carloads in and out. Only time will tell.

Conductor Darla guides engineer Dennis back off of the Kohler Industrial lead onto the Haven Industrial Lead at Kohler Jct. The day are getting shorter to shots at this location will become few and far in between.

A LPA82 crew has just boarded the power for empties and eases past a parked ballast train. If the rumors are true, Sheboygan may see another ballast train this coming summer.

A dog's morning

So....in our hose, we (mostly I) have a rule that the dogs don't sleep on the bed. Last night I went up a little early and let the two pooches up on the bed while I watched the end of the Brewer game. When the wife came up, I was pretty well asleep and she (not wanting to disturb the dogs) let them sleep with us. At a little after 3:00, the little dog starts moving around and licking and doing all those things that dogs do in the middle of the night. This disturbance woke me up and I couldn't fall back to sleep. What to do? Go find 79 of course. Knowing it was a little late by the time I got moving, I headed straight for Cedar Grove to catch them there but alas, no train. I checked the Shoreline Sub Facebook group and saw a post that 79 was running late so I headed back to Sheboygan and caught them pulling up to the Yard office in the rain. A dog's morning it was!
